The 5 || Ways to stay on top of your game

The biggest strength anyone can have is being able to do things differently, staying sane and keeping up while at it. Each time I’m putting efforts into making or doing something, I always make sure that it will be one for the books.

Truth is, life is evolving really fast and you have to constantly evolve with it. Following this tips tremendously have helped me stay productive over time.

 

Do it Now!

 

Later is a such an easy word to say. You open the link that leads you to an exciting career or opportunity and asked to answer some questions, now what, I’ll do that later.

At a point we’ve all been guilty of this devil, ‘Procrastination’ but guess what they say about time?

Time waits for no one.

Apps like Todist, Asana and Goalmap can be used to organize tasks and set reminders to get them done.

 

Learn something new.

Learn, learn and keep learning.

To be a pro in your field, you have to deep dive into knowledge about it, keep playing, and be a master in the game.

Read books, take online courses from Udemy, EDX, Coursera etc. Make google your best friend, there are a lot of information and resources for you, just search it!

 

 

If you want to be known for what you do, you definitely can’t be a hermit.

Attend seminars, conferences and events in your niche. Build a community of people with the same interests. Collaborate with others. Volunteer for projects.

This way you get to meet new people (in your field too), pitch your brand, gain more connects, secure a client and much more.

 

Set boundaries

 

If you don’t practice self-awareness enough, you probably won’t be able to get this done. Evaluate your SWOT (Strenghts, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) and know your limits.

 

 

One of the basic things we skip on the most is personal health. It’s so important because when you crash, you crash. 

I used to overstretch my work hours and ended up with insomnia thinking it was normal and I was ‘nocturnal’ not until I had a hard time sleeping during the day too. All that while, I was less productive, sluggish at work, forgetting everything and almost lost a job.

Take that nap, eat on time, use your medications if you have any. 

 

Taking a tip or two from this list will definitely help you stay productive this week, I just followed Tip 1 by posting this despite writing crazy exams.
